Ideas for AI Integration for Investments
This will be an active post where we’ll continue brainstorming our ideas and make updates as we explore Agentic AI and how it can support our investment workflows. As we learn more about how Agentic AI operates, we’ll document and brainstorm potential automation opportunities and workflow designs that could enhance our daily/weekly/monthly process.
Over the past year, we focused heavily on prompt engineering with Microsoft Copilot and significantly reduced the time we spend on analysis, especially within Excel. This year, our priority is to streamline our dashboards using AI. We’re still assessing whether we need full AI Agents through Power Automate or if Microsoft Copilot Studio will be sufficient for our workflow. Our long‑term goal is to build an interactive dashboard with simulation capabilities.
While this is our family website, we’re sharing our journey with the FI community and with anyone interested in building their family wealth independently. We’re strong believers in DIY investing and prefer not to rely on financial advisors or planners. We also avoid third‑party personal‑finance platforms that require monthly subscription fees or access to sensitive information, as we find that counterintuitive to financial independence. For security reasons, we will never store or share our bank or investment account credentials with any external service — not even through saved passwords — given the increasing cybersecurity risks.
