Agentic AI (Book)
We’re planning to make Agentic AI our main focus next year. Over the past year, our primary effort has been developing strong prompt‑engineering practices and leveraging FinAI. Instead of relying solely on Excel for our personal finances and investments, we’ve now shifted most of our calculations and analysis to AI.
We believe Agentic AI will give us the ability to automate much more of our personal finances and investment workflows. We’re still deciding whether it makes sense to build dedicated AI agents for full automation, or whether we should focus on integrating what we already have and use platforms like Claude (or others) to power more advanced financial‑planning models.
We’re advanced Excel users, and all our personal finances and investments are consolidated across multiple dashboards. The challenge is that Copilot and Excel still don’t communicate seamlessly. And even if they eventually do, Excel can become complex when you’re dealing with thousands of cells and numerous sheets. That would increase AI hallucinating more often. We believe that integrating Agentic AI into our Excel dashboards could unlock a far more functional and dynamic financial planning model.
Hopefully this book can give us more ideas and steer us into the right direction when building a financial planning model or AI agents, or both.
