Notes:

Each of these Gauge Charts are different, but have AI hallucinations of their own. There wasn’t a specific way of me prompting it so that it renders an accurate output. The labelling output is somehow incorrect, so I’m not sure if it’s my prompting, or its a technical AI rendering issue.

The positive aspect is that the hex colors orientation is nice. It understands base colors and glossy effect. Another positive aspect is the needle that AI used. I didn’t have to tell the type of needle to use as I have no idea anyway. However, the needle that AI chose to use was a nice touch.

I think of a Gauge Chart as something cool to see. It’s not a must have, but more of a speedometer to see how fast we’re going. Green is good. Red is bad. I also like the glossy effect feel. It has that cool look. Standard base colors is ok, but boring. AI understands what a Gauge Chart is, so I didn’t have to prompt it much on the design. Including the glossy effect with the needle adds a nice touch. I also came up with 75% as an example. There’s no basis, but it’s mainly to see if the needle is working as it should, and the answer is yes for (3), but not really for (1) and (2). It’s most likely due to the rendering of the segments of 4 at 25%, and 5 at 20%. It’s easy to point at 75% if the 4 segments at 25% is at segment 3, but harder to visualize on 5 segments at 20%, where 75% is at 3.5 segments. Once I update the FI Dashboard and create a progression meter, then I’ll decide to see if 4 or 5 segments is easier to utilize.

In regards to colors, I’ve tested between base colors, base colors with glossy effect, and single base color grading. All are good. I’m not used to a single base color for a gauge meter as we typically see red, yellow, green as performance indicators, but knowing that AI can render any color is quite useful.

AI hallucinates on labelling the most. AI says it can fix certain formatting, but it renders differently. Good thing is that AI can create these type of Gauge Charts using different colors and effects. I’ll test some more when creating the FI Dashboard.
