Westpac Online Trading Brokerage Fees

Great news! Westpac lowered their online trading fees effective mid-April. We’ll be updating our trading DCA threshholds for our Buys and Sells. Main difference is we’ll stop at DCA 2.75K and update %’s by 2.5%. So instead of Buy/Sell 5K, we’ll do 2.5K/2.5K. Same total, but we’ll lower our risk exposure as we’ll DCA in 2 different periods at the same trading fee. Also any trades that we average at 1.75K, instead of 40 for full round trade, it would be 20, so half the comms. EFI would be impacted as we include comms onto our cost basis, so now would be half effective next fiscal since we’re already 3 quarters in.
