// Thailand Expenses //

Thailand Food Expenses were surprisingly expensive and very similar to Sydney. If we compare the Thai food and even MCD, each dish averages around 12-15. We expected to be cheaper considering that it’s Thailand. Japanese curry rice averages 15/dish. Although we had MM food, otherwise, not much other Asian food variety. We went out for Thai Seafood on one of the nights. Expensive, but was worth it for the tasting experience. However if you compare the taste to Singapore chili crab, still can’t beat it. Crab and Shrimp were fresh, but the sauce flavor could’ve been better.

As for shopping, didn’t buy much. Bought a few boxers and shorts and the standard pricing was 100/baht. so about 4/each. If we compare our last Thailand trip back in 2017, boxers were definitely was much cheaper then averaging 1.5/each. Socks were limited as expected due to the humid weather, but still managed 3 pairs for about 100/baht. Bought a medium size slinger bag for about 27.5 as the discounted mall. Had to haggle as she initially wanted about 42.5. Didn’t want to pay more than 32.5 based on the design and quality.

Siam Discovery was a nice entertainment place as they had go karts, including the actual Mario Kart for driving on the Switch 2.
