GenAI
I’ve created a post specifically for GenAI and will be updating my notes as needed.
Just finished reading Generative AI for Dummies by Pam Baker as my foundation.
Her book is a nice foundation for increasing one’s general knowledge in GenAI, which I needed. There are many online searches for AI, but I can’t trust the sources. I can’t tell which are legit at the moment and prefer to trust my instincts. I understand the prompting basics after testing with ChatGPT and Microsoft CoPilot prior to reading her book, and prefer to refine my prompts to be more focused on more complex features.
Based on my understanding so far, goal is to test some of the AI apps that she recommended more tailored for our goals and purposes. There are currently 3 aspects I’ll be focusing on: Website Design, Financial Planning, and Cash Flow Modeling for personal finances and investing. Not for Budgeting. Over time, I’ll test the apps and write my comments for each to see if it’s suitable for personal finances and investing. Not for business purposes.
This will be an ongoing project, so depending on how extensive my research becomes, I may consider picking some insights from the FI Community and share this with the public.
*Note: Based on my AI apps research so far, most are focused for businesses. Goal is to find (or to create one potentially), specifically for personal finances and investments.
