When consolidating the Funds details for EKSuper, factchecking the information becomes easier when using # for transactions when referencing. I’ve noticed that AI hallucinates more often when extracting details from JPG and less often from PDFs. As for Excel files, AI does a great job extracting details as well, except for dates as it extracts the dates as a general number. This can easily be changed by prompting AI that the general number using today’s date as reference, and having AI back referencing when converting the dates. Otherwise, extracting details from the PDFs are sufficient.
No issues when extracting the details from the main file and creating a structured table. Only time when AI hallucinated was when I copied over the details and created a new structured table to update APP. There’s that possibility when the information duplicated on the count for Total Quantity, therefore, miscalculating APP as APP uses Total Quantity. When this happens, AI doesn’t recalculate on the Grand Total either, so have to force AI to recalculate after every update. It’s an easy fix as I just copied and pasted over the Funds transactions over. I’ve also created a separate table when consolidating LPP, CP, and Tar$. AI managed to copy over the data into one consolidated table with no issues.
