Analysis Framework (Power BI)

We’ve completed our JUN26 financials utilizing Power BI as our dashboard.

As we prepare for this year, we’re considering creating another framework to include the Investment Funds Allocation. We’re brainstorming with AI to determine the best method to automate and streamline our process.

However, in doing so, requires Power BI Pro version which costs 21/monthly/user and Excel Online version which costs 7/monthly/user. We prefer not to pay the monthly subscription services and stay offline as this is a personal finance and investment dashboard, and paying for online monthly subscriptions would be an overkill.

Instead, we’ll keep our Excel dashboards utilizing advanced formulas for automation, and create monthly Power BI dashboards instead. Based on our due diligence and research so far, we’re considering the inv fields analysis framework and volatility band features in Power BI. We definitely won’t need to create AI agents utilizing these features as the inv fields are auto populated within Excel on a daily basis and volatility band features are a one time creation in Power BI.

Regarding data, we will be using as of JUN26. We have Investment Dashboard (JUN26), Investment Table (Progression), and Investment Table (Prices). We’ll proceed with designing the next framework for our dashboard by incorporating the JUN26 Funds data as the initial balance. This framework will integrate our existing Excel dashboards while utilizing the Power BI model focusing on investable assets, specifically on Funds.
